Meet the Clemsons!

 

We are Karen, Jon, Eliana and Charlie and we live on Salt Spring Island, a jewel in the Pacific Northwest. The ultimate mom’n’pop shop, we juggle the raising of our two little ones, while overseeing our online sales and managing our retail shop, The Village Hive, in Ganges. For us, every day is an adventure.

 

We work hands-on year-round producing our current line, as well as dreaming in new ideas for future products. In the spring and fall we typically travel beyond our island to showcase our wares at various craft shows in Canada.

 

Every single creation we bring to you has been lovingly crafted by our own 4 hands, following a long and dedicated pre-production process. We are grateful to you, our supporters, for co-creating the opportunity for us all to share in the things we love.

Big Bear + the Wolf offers whimsical wood art inspired by nature and dreams. We strive to bring positive messages through our creations that serve as daily reminders of how we can live our lives intentionally and joyfully. Our work is fuelled by our love for our coastal home of British Columbia, Canada.We handcraft each piece of art on Salt Spring Island, BC, and we plant a tree for every sale through Trees for the Future. So far we've planted over 10 000 trees!

 

Boogaloo Bubbywear Earth Friendly Clothing offers cute & sustainable baby & children's clothing that is 100% designed, sewn & hand-printed in Canada. The ultra-soft, natural fabrics we use for our garments are as gentle on the earth as they are on a little one's skin. Everything is made from organically grown cotton, bamboo or hemp.
